Planning and proposing IT development environment solutions, system construction, and operation for four-wheel control development
Location: 4630 Shimotakanezawa, Haga-machi, Haga-gun, Tochigi Prefecture
Annual salary: Over 8.2 million yen. Based on experience and ability, salary will be determined according to company regulations.
Level: Mid-career

Job Title/Responsibilities
 
Establishing a framework that supports the specifications, security, and safe software updates for all software changes to ensure seamless connectivity between development, production, and the market, as part of the globally deployable “All Honda” initiative. Specific responsibilities include:
 
● Building data management tools and environments
Including E&E architecture management, AD/ADAS development information management, and control development source code management, etc.
● Establishing a foundation for control software development environments
Including CI/CD environments, and co-creation development environments with suppliers, etc.
● Operating various control tools and addressing system obsolescence
This involves requirements analysis, definition with user departments, and collaborating with IT vendors for system development.

Qualifications

  • business level English proficiency
  • Required skills:
    Experience in IT system development (business requirements analysis, system requirements definition, system implementation, various testing, production deployment)
  • Preferred skills:
    Experience as a project manager or development team leader
    Experience in control development, E&E development, or ALM/E&E infrastructure IT system development
    Experience in configuration management and derivative management-related tasks
  • Desired personal qualities:
    Ability to smoothly communicate with user departments and development vendors while driving projects forward
    Passion and enthusiasm for engaging in on-site reform and improvement tasks
    Eagerness to explore new IT technologies as an IT engineer
