The automotive industry is undergoing a once-in-a-century transformation, with the concept of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) gaining traction. This approach involves defining the software first in the development process, followed by the hardware—a method of vehicle creation known as “Software-Defined Mobility (SDM)” at Honda. Last fiscal year (2023), we established a new organization to advance SDM. To further strengthen this organization and promote cross-organizational reforms, we are creating a new team and are looking for new members to join us.
